Bacon and Garlic Baked Broccoli

Broccoli was always far from one of my favorite foods. I hated it growing up. Now that I've experimented with it I have found that it can taste amazing. This is one of my favorite, and easiest ways to cook it.

Here's what you'll need:

1 bag of Frozen broccoli, defrosted slightly

4 slices raw bacon chopped up

2 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic

salt and pepper to taste

First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. While it's preheating mix all of your ingredients together. You can do it in a bowl, or my favorite way, in a big zip lock bag. I like using the zip lock bags so it's one less dish to wash. Just put it all in there, close it, and shake, shake, shake.

Once it's all evenly coated spread it on a rimmed pan covered with parchment paper. Place it in the oven and cook until the bacon is cooked through to how you like it. Mine normally takes about 30 minutes. You'll want to take the pan out and stir it all around a few times while it's all cooking. This helps cook it all evenly, and get that horrible for you, but oh so tasty bacon grease all oven the broccoli.

Now you're ready to enjoy!

Thank you co much for taking the time to read this! Let me know what you think in the comments.
